This whimsical calendar has been created to inspire, encourage and to teach you to sow, grow and harvest fresh produce straight from the garden. It promotes the importance of seasonal, and locally grown organic food and the positive benefits of connecting with nature by displaying which fruit and vegetables to plant and then harvest each month. A full growing chart is also included at the end of the calendar.
The Growing Through The Seasons Calendar is the perfect gift for gardeners, allotment growers, vegetable lovers or anyone that is keen to get started or just in need of a guidance throughout the year.
Isla Middleton created this calendar with the wonderful grower Bryony Middleton, Head Gardener at the Sharpham Trust in Devon, who manages their 19th century walled organic vegetable garden and the ornamental grounds.
Each month throughout the year includes:
- A full page illustration of seasonal fruit, flowers or vegetables. All the prints are from original designs that are new for 2025, they are hand drawn and then intricately carved into lino blocks for printing.
- Tips and knowledge for the month, including what fruit and vegetables to sow and harvest.
- A full growing chart is included at the end of the calendar, with an overview of the annual sowing and harvest schedule.
- Dates for the phases of the moon, bank holidays and seasonal festivals.
