Enjoy the glow from our Hand Dipped Beeswax Stubby Candles. Hand made in Cumbria, by a family run business, these candles are made using the traditional candle-making technique of hand dipping. This artisanal process involves repeatedly dipping wicks that are hung from a frame into molten wax, gradually building up each candle layer by layer.

All of our candles are joined at the wick and sold in pairs.

How long should I cut the wick before the first light?

We recommend that prior to burning your beeswax candle for the first time, you should trim the cotton wick to approximately 5mm in length. This will ensure an even burn and prevents wax from building up around the outside of the candle.
